MISSION The mission of Rainbow Solutions is to provide services and resources to help individuals and organizations live and invest responsibly to create a better world for ourselves and future generations. ABOUT RAINBOW SOLUTIONS Rainbow Solutions specializes in socially and environmentally responsible investing, providing a full range of investment and other financial services to help you invest and manage your money life according to your social values. In addition, Rainbow Solutions offers educational programs and personal and organizational consulting to help you implement sustainable practices in your life and work. We also provide ministerial services such as weddings and other rites of passage. Rainbow Solutions was founded in 1998 by Donna E. Clifford and Dorothy May Emerson. They combined Donna's expertise in finance and investments with Dorothy's experience as a minister to create a company that offers a wide range of services to support people and organizations in living and investing in ways that can bring healing and justice to the world. Donna has over twenty years experience in the financial services industry, with more than seven years specializing in socially responsible investing. Her affiliation with Progressive Asset Management provides many resources to assist clients in aligning their investment decisions with their values. She manages investments for individuals, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. Donna also provides related financial services, offering life insurance
and annuities, section 1031 real estate exchanges, REIT investments,
mortgages and home equity loans, and tax planning.
Dorothy is an ordained Unitarian Universalist community minister. She co-founded Rainbow Solutions to promote socially responsible investing as an important tool for social change and to offer consulting services to support those who want their lifestyles and business practices, as well as their money, to reflect their core values. Dorothy works with individuals and organizations to help them envision, design, and implement change. She gives public lectures, leads seminars and worship services, and is available to develop workshops and trainings for the specific needs of organizations. Dorothy also performs weddings, funerals and memorial services, child dedications, and a variety of other special rituals. She specializes in interfaith ceremonies personally designed to suit your needs and reflect your values.
